Imran Khan Niazi – Prime minister of Pakistan

Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi is the most respectable person in Pakistan. People love him a lot and expects a lot from him since he became Prime minister of Pakistan. He is present Prime Minister of Pakistan. Imran khan is 2nd prime minister of Pakistan’s history, and chairman of political party PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf).

He was born on 5th October 1952 but they say that his date of birth is wrongly mentioned on his passport as 25th November, by Pakistan Cricket board. Khan’s da Ikramullah Khan Niazi was a civil engineer and he is the only son of Ikramullah Khan Niazi and Shaukat Khanam and only brother to four sisters. Khan’s mother was an urdu speaking woman from Karachi which has said to be given birth to many successful and renowned players.

Imran Khan was a shy boy when he was young but he grew up to be a very cute, handsome and improved personality. He was the one who got privileged education along with his sisters as he belonged to an upper-middle class family. He did his early schooling form Cathedral school Lahore and studied in Aitchison college after that. Khan had also been to Royal Grammar School in Worcester England where he polished his skills as a cricketer.

Imran Khan was an international player associated with Pakistan national cricket team before he started his career as a politician. He did best job as a player and Pakistani cricket team got his very first and only world cup in 1992 cricket world cup with Imran Khan as its captain. Imran Khan did captaincy for 10 years starting from 1982 till 1992. He kept struggling and with his keen efforts he sets multiple records and made his way to the ICC cricket Hall of fame.

Khan started his cricket career in Lahore at the age of 16. Along with playing National cricket and playing for Pakistan, Khan was also part of cricket blues team in Oxford University during 1973-1975.

Khan played English county cricket During 1971 to 1976 and he also lead other teams while playing for the local cricket clubs. Khan started his career as a cricketer in 1971 when he played test series against England. He made his debut to one-day international cricket, and once again, it was against England, in 1974. Khan then came back to Pakistan in 1976 to finally represent his own country.

The thirty-year-old Khan took over from Javed Miandad, captain of Pakistan’s cricket team, at the height of his career in 1982. Khan played 48 test games, of which Pakistan won 14, lost 8 and drawn the remaining 26. He also played 139 ODIs, 77 win, 57 lose and 1 in the draw.

In the second game of the squad, Khan led them 28 years at Lord’s for their first trial victory on English soil. The first year of Khan as a captain was his legacy as a fast bowler and an all-rounder. During 8 wickets for 58 runs in 1981-1982 in Lahore, he recorded the best test bowling of his career.

Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital

Imran khan was born in Pashtun family and belongs from Lahore. Till 1975, he studied and got graduated from Keble College, Oxford. Other than being a cricketer, Imran khan is also known for building up Pakistan’s most renowned Cancer hospital “Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital” which treats poor people for free.

The reason that inspired him to do that was his own mother. Imran Khan’s mother was a cancer patient and died due to cancer. So he started this hospital project in the name and to honor his mother.

In 1971, Imran Khan started raising money for his cancer hospital and he miraculously raised $25 million for his first cancer hospital. Raising all the money made it easier for him and he build Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital Lahore in 1994. He didn’t stop right there, instead he continued this chain by building another cancer hospital in Peshawar in 2005. Khan is now raising money and claim to build the biggest cancer hospital in Karachi which will be the continuing project of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital.

Khan also keeps his efforts going by introducing new expansions to the Shaukat Khanam memorial hospital and he started labs and testing area along with research center with hospital as well.

Imran khan served as chancellor in Bradford university where he received an honorary fellowship award by Royal college of physicians in 2012. As well as he founded Namal college in 2008 so we can say he has this list of ongoing efforts in his life.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf

After winning world cup in 1992 and completing his first project of Shaukat Khanum Memorial hospital in 1994, Khan entered in politics and found his own party named as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf in 1996. He was the chairman of PTI.

Khan’s political career does not end or slows down here. His history being a struggler as politician is also very interesting and well known by the world as well.

Most wanted Prime Minister:

Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi is the most wanted Prime Minister as he inspired youth and gave people of Pakistan many reasons to love him, not just as a cricketer. Pakistani youth was very fond of Imran Khan since he was a cricketer. They adore him, respect him and see him as a game changer.

Khan started his own political party Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaaf in 1996. He won a seat in national assembly in 2002 and got elected from Mianwali, as an opposition member for next five years. PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf) then boycotted general election and after that, until senate Elections they were the second largest party according to the public votes.

Khan represented Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Province of Pakistan) for 5 years until he has won highest votes and got elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan in 2018. Pakistani people have got their expectations high since PM Imran Khans got the seat.

Khan has promised to renew Pakistan and remove poverty from the country and many people believes him and accompanying him on the road to success.
