We can call companies where employees have a tough time or is illegal as black Companies.

These are not only small companies , but also Big companies as Black Company.

What is Black Company ?

The map is called Black Companies Map in Japan.

There are a lot of Black Companies.

These Companies require hard work , over time without payment.

Less compliance , many harassments.

What kind of company is a “black company”?

The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare does not define “black companies”.

But there are some general characteristics.

imposing extremely long working hours and quotas on workers.
unpaid overtime and power harassment. It is said that the compliance awareness of the entire company is low.
excessive selection of workers is carried out under such circumstances. Example , hire a large number of new employees, select whether they can withstand long working hours, and leave only successful applicants.

And these environments cause employees to commit suicide sometimes.

There is Black Company award every year.

It began last 2012.

10 companies were nominated and only 4 to 5 companies can win the award.

There are big famous companies like Hitachi (Big electric manufacture) , KDDI (one of top Internet Carriers) , Dentsu (Biggest Advertise company).

Last year , MSEC won the Award.

Congratulations ?

MSEC is Mitsubishi Electric Corporation ( a leading worldwide manufacturer of electrical and electronic products ).

There are 5 Labor accident cases and 2 of them are dead.

They won award in 2018.

But there was another suicide case last 2019.

That is reason they could win the award.
